Nicole Lewis

Journalist

Nicole Lewis is an award-winning journalist. She currently serves as The Marshall Project's Engagement Editor. Previously she was the senior editor of the Jurisprudence section at Slate.

 

Before becoming an editor, Nicole was a staff writer at The Marshall Project where she wrote about felony disenfranchisement laws and other issues that directly affect people behind bars and their families. She has also covered politics for The Fact Checker at The Washington Post. 

 

Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Mother Jones, Slate and The Guardian among other publications.
